Set Clear and Achievable Goals Building a routine involves setting clear and achievable fitness goals. Goals help to direct and motivate; track the progress of an individual, and keep him motivated towards it. Learn to remind yourself to work out and make it something you will never forget to do. It is bound to become second nature as time goes on. Reward yourself for the consistency too. Treats such as rest days or shopping for new workout gear are well worth the effort of keeping on track. Positive reinforcement encourages people to keep going by instilling a habit.
